FOXBORO – A first half deficit turned into a two-half win for MOLE Hockey as they defeated the Boston Jr. Rangers White, 5-3, on Saturday afternoon at the Foxboro Sports Center in Jr. A play at the 2021 Pre-Draft Showcase.
The game was tied 2-2 late into the first frame – two from Caleb Amidon and one each from MOLE’s Max Robins and Blake Brenczenski drawing things even – until a shorthanded tally from Aidan Elbrecht set the Rangers atop at the intermission.
Despite a Rangers lead at the end of one, it was all MOLE in the second as they put away another three for the win. Myles Slachetka, Jared Hayden and Ryan Messing each with one to close out the 5-3 victory.
