Mini Chowder Cup is back as TeamONE nicks Little Rhody, 3-2.

ATTLEBORO – New England Pro-Am Hockey’s Mini Chowder Cup returned to the ice on Friday morning. The long wait ending with TeamONE holding off the Little Rhody Hockey Club, 3-2, in ’07 Division play on Friday morning at the New England Sports Village.

A scoreless first led to a dynamic start to the second half for TeamONE, who screamed out of the locker room to amass an early 3-0 lead. If one were to have blinked, they may have missed it as Nick Dias, Tyler Clouthier and Jonathan Dion all scored in the first 2:23 of the second for the 3-0 TeamONE lead.

Ollie Haynes stemmed the tide for Little Rhody with his score at 3:30 of the second half to make it 3-1, and Jagger Lucas then put one away at 10:55 to make it 3-2. The comeback came no closer, however, as netminder Ray Bryant – who came on to start the second half in relief of Ethan Cosker – shut the door to preserve the one-goal victory for TeamONE.
