Knights U15 stay hot with 7-0 win.

FOXBORO – Lovell Knights’ U15 squad ripped through the opening day of play at the 2018 Midget Fall Classic on Saturday. They then started Sunday in similar fashion, running their record to a perfect 3-0-0 with a 7-0 victory over the Boston Jr. Terriers.

The onslaught started early and came hard in the first, Luke Radar starting the assault with his score at the three-minute mark. It was the first of five scores in the frame for the Knights, including a pair from Kevin McElaney and a pair on the power play.

With most of the damage already done, the Knights posted just two more in the second to finalize their seven-goal victory. Five different Knights had multiple credits to their scoring record in the contest, led by Matt Mahoney, who had a goal and three assists.

McElaney (2G, 1A), Cole Theodore (2A), Nick Zanella (2A) and Sam Marchionni (2A) were the remaining Knights with multi-point contests. Goaltender Evan Monaghan was credited with the win in net.
