Kanaly comes alive in second for the win.

BRIDGEWATER – A second half rally turned Team Kanaly’s contest with the Top Prospects on its head and into a 5-2 victory on Friday at the Bridgewater Ice Arena.

Things looked good in the first for Top Prospects. They got early goals from Jacob Castana and Nick Squashic to take a two-goal lead, but a late goal from Chase Chalfin not only got Kanaly on the board, but was also the spark of their offensive explosion.

Four times Kanaly struck in the second, while netminder Jake Rossi and the team’s defense locked things down on the other end of the ice to keep Top Prospects off the board. A pair of goals from Michael Romano bookended scores from Kevin Koles and Ryan Carr, accounting for Kanaly’s four goals in the frame and solidifying their 5-2 win.
