CANTON – The classic sports “Tale of Two Halves” played out for the fans at the Canton Ice House on Saturday as Ice Works U16 and Turner Elite Hockey played to a 2-2 draw on the second day of play at the 2022 Women’s Chowder Cup.
Turner took control of the game in the first half, their offense coming through with a pair of goals to take a 2-0 lead into the half. Kaitlyn Collins and Anika Singh with the goals for Turner.
It was then Ice Works turn in the second as they put away two of their own to set the game at its final 2-2 deadlock. Gabby Woods and Hazel Hughes credited with goals to bring things back to even.
