ATTLEBORO – The WBS Knights ended their second day of play at the 2021 Sr. Chowder Cup in fine fashion, rallying to notch a 5-5 draw with Little Rhody HC/DMV Blue in Jr. A division play.
It seemed the outcome was going to be much different after just the first half, Little Rhody storming out to a 4-2 lead at the break. There was still another half to play, though, and that is when the Knights made their move.
A Jacob Valente goal at 9:15 made it 4-3. Nate Heithoff had Little Rhody’s advantage back to two with his third of three goals in the contest, but Alex Panameno had it back to one less than a minute later. Charles Holt came on late in the frame to notch the goal for the Knights and draw the game even at 5-5.
