Finish out their opening round play with 5-0 win.

WALPOLE – Innovative Hockey Development closed out their opening round play in the 2015 Chowder Cup on Saturday, finishing at 2-1-0 following a 5-0, shutout victory over the Boston Gamers at Rodman Arena.

IHD jumped in front early on Felix Brassard’s fourth of the tournament at 2:33 and never looked back. Though Brassard’s tally was all they needed in the end, IHD continued to add, upping their lead to 2-0 at 15:36 on a goal from Chris Protopoulos, where it remained until after the half.

Bettering their two goals scored in the first, Innovated poured on another three more in the second for good measure. Protopoulos added his second of the game, a goal that was sandwiched by a pair from Jacob Lapierre, accounting for the remaining scoring.
