FOXBORO –New England Pro-Am Hockey’s Women’s Chowder Cup as made its return to the ice. One of the first wins at this year’s tournament went to HomeGrown Hockey as they defeated Ice Works, 2-0, on Friday at the Foxboro Sports Center.
Izzy Cericola got HomeGrown started on their path to victory with an unassisted power play goal in the game’s first half. Nicole Illiff then put a stamp on things with a second half goal to make it 2-0 Assists coming on the Illiff score from Reid Snyder and Samantha Brodsky.
Olivia Park was credited with the win in the HomeGrown net.
