FOXBORO – Goats Select opened their stay at the 2023 Pre-Draft Showcase with a four goal, first half explosion that paced a 5-2 win over Roc City Elite on Friday morning at the Foxboro Sports Center.
Dale Campbell, Connor Santay, Matthew Lee and Mason Chen all notched their first goal of the tournament in the Goats’ opening fleury. Nicholas Recupero scored for Roc City to leave things at a 4-1 Goat’s advantage at the intermission.
Things were played even in the second frame, each side adding one more tally to the scoresheet. Recupero again for Roc City and Panayioti Efraimidis for Goats rounding out the 5-2 final.
