Gladiators put hurt on CCHG to start Day 2.

FOXBORO – The first game listed on the docket for Day 2 of pool play at the 2022 Sr. Chowder Cup was a Jr. A division game between Gladiators Hockey and CCHG Teal at the Foxboro Sports Center on Friday morning. It was a game that very much went in favor of the Gladiators, who took home the 8-2 victory.

It was tight through the first half of the first half, each side scoring a pair in the game’s early stages. The Gladiators offense then turned it on and the 2-2 tie had turned into a 5-2 advantage by half’s end.

The Gladiators continued to pour it on in the second half, netting another three to more than secure their 8-2 victory. Mason Zebieski (2G, 1A) led the way for victorious offense with three points in the contest. Lucas Vincze (2G) and Joshua Kado (1G, 1A) also had multiple points for the Gladiators.

Ryan Lagan and Aidan Urie were credited with the goals for CCHG.
