Future Star Academy authoritative in win over Jr. Rangers.

FOXBORO – Future Star Academy Black made a command performance as they were closing out their preliminary round slate on Saturday at the Foxboro Sports Center. They defeated the Boston Jr. Rangers 8-1.

The Academy controlled from the start, ringing up a 3-1 lead over the game’s opening period. Carl Froblom, Erik Lepisto and Petar Jevtic all scoring for Future Star, while Moseley Schwarts was credited for the Rangers’ lone goal.

Their three goals in the first was bettered in the second half as Future Star Academy was back on the score sheet five more times in the game’s final 25 minutes. Froblom added to his goal total, while Gustav Aderskog, Emil Tyssling Engstrom (two times) and Casper Soderling all made contributions of their own.

Froblom (2G, 1A), Jevtic (1G, 2A) and Olof Hart (3A) were all credited with three points in the contest, while Filip Schlyter and Hugo Haas split the victorious goaltending duties in the Future Star net.
