First half assault seals it for Seals.

ATTLEBORO – The Signati Golden Seals took to the ice at the New England Sports Village on Saturday with fury in defeating IHC ’06 5-3 at the 2021 Jr. Chowder Cup.

It was a five goal first period for the Seals to set the tone for their victory. Brody Dearden started the attack just 29 seconds after the opening puck drop, followed by a goal by Cam Nigro just a few minutes later.

A power play goal by Max Johnson got IHC on the board, but there was still plenty of scoring to be done in a first half that ended with the Seals leading 5-2.

That was where the score remained until late in the second half when Johnson solidified the game’s 5-3 final with his goal with just 1:13 remaining.

Dearden lead his team and the game in scoring with two goals and two assists.
