ATTLEBORO – Reider Hockey Colonials (Blue) came out hard and heavy on Saturday afternoon at the New England Sports Village. Their offense exploded in the game’s first half en route to posting a 9-2 victory over the Cape Cod Selects in Jr. A division play at the 2026 Pre-Draft Showcase.
Seven times in the first Reider put pucks in the back of the net as they comfortably sailed to their victory. Cape Cod got two of their own in the first, but Reider had an additional two of their own to add in the second to preserve their seven-goal cushion and 9-2 win.
It was a balanced attack for Reider with 10 skaters credited with a point in the contest. Cooper Grant (3G) and Rocco Weaver (1G, 2A) led the charge, each with a three-point showing.
Peyton Sommer (1G, 1A) was also credited with multiple points in the contest, while Evan Snyder went on the scoresheet as the game’s winning netminder.
