EHG close their opening round with win.

FOXBORO – Their fate at the 2022 Sr. Chowder Cup may not yet be decided, but EHG made a fine performance of the final game of their opening round slate. They defeated the All American Prospects 3-1 on Saturday at the Foxboro Sports Center.

And it was a late press EHG needed to make in victory. After a scoreless first half, Andrew Dzubak scored in the opening minute of the second to give EHG the 1-0 advantage.

It was an advantage they held for much of the second half before a power play goal by Peter Unger spoiled the party and drew the Prospects back to even with just under two minutes to play.

With not all too much time remaining, EHG saved their best for late, striking twice in the final minute of the game for the victory. Joey Mallozzi first and then Braedon Gallante with just a few seconds remaining for the 3-1 EHG win.
