ATTLEBORO – As the 2024 Mini Chowder Cup got going, so did the Eels Prospects. They opened their 2010 division tournament slate by shutting out Atlantic Coast HC 3-0 on Friday morning at the New England Sports Village.
Two in the first set the tone in victory for the Eels. Sebastian Castagno and Mason Bartsch each credited with an opening half tally that gave the Prospects a 2-0 advantage.
Out of the break, Bennet Axelson increased the lead to its 3-0 final while goaltender Luke Bromberg did as he did all game long and continued to turn aside every opposing bid in the Eels net, collecting his first shutout of the tournament.
