FOXBORO – The Eagles Hockey Club made for a strong start at the 2022 Women’s Chowder Cup. They blanked the WC Swans 7-0 on Friday at the Foxboro Sports Center.
Goals from Adelena Alvarez and Drew Kopek got things going for the Eagles offense in the first half, but it was in the second that they truly began to shine.
Another from Kopek, two from Alyssa Nardslico and one each from Eva Mayo and Julia Peters went on the board in the second half as the Eagles cruised to their 7-0 victory.
Alvarez added four assists to the first half goal to finish with a game-high five points (1G, 4A). Peters (1G, 2A), Nardslico (2G), Kopek (2G), Mayo (1G, 1A) and Makenna Crouse 92A) also each finished with multiple points in the contest.
Abigail Seaman was credit with the shutout for the Eagles.
