CANTON – The New England Ducks’ debut at the 2021 Sr. Chowder Cup ended in a 3-3 draw with Power Play Hockey Metro on Thursday at the Canton Ice House.
A comeback was needed to result in that final draw. Josh Noll put Power Play up with a score at 8:37 of the first half. Ryan Girard made it 1-1 with his score at 15:21, which is where it remained through the duration of the opening frame.
Noll for a second score and John Syrotynski made it 3-1 in Power Play’s favor. The Ducks were not done, however, as Brigham Dubey and Brandon Shuman each notched their first of the tournament to get the scoreboard back to even at 3-3.
