DA Hockey doubles up Thunder at 6-3.

BRIDGEWATER – With the preliminary round of the 2022 Mini Chowder Cup winding down, DA Hockey took to posting a 6-3 win over the Twin City Thunder on Saturday at Bridgewater Ice Arena West.

Much of the game’s offense came in a first half flurry, but neither side could gain a decided advantage. The two sides combined for seven scores in the opening frame, DA bringing it to a close with a 4-3 lead at halftime. Anthony Colson twice, Reef Inman, Chandler Moore were credited with the scores for DA, while the Thunder’s Gus Lambert, twice, and Jack Caron were entered on their side of the scoresheet.

Despite the explosion in the first, there were no offensive scores left to rumble for the Thunder. DA was not quite finished as they extended their lead and then added a little insurance. Logan Hostetler and Justin Bohannon with the scores to round out the 6-3 victory.
