Foxboro, Mass. — Corners Hockey edged TeamONE 19U in a shootout after the teams battled to a 2-2 tie through regulation.

The action started quickly, with Maggie Berleth putting TeamONE 19U on the board just 1:25 into the contest.
Corners Hockey answered midway through the period when Kate Glantz found the back of the net at 6:32, evening the score at 1-1.
The momentum swung again late in the opening frame. At 18:53, Alex Mitsakis capitalized on a scoring chance off assists from Anna Davidson and Kate Tarr, giving Corners Hockey its first lead of the game.
TeamONE 19U refused to go away, however. With just 2:35 remaining in the period, Emma Doucette delivered the equalizer at 22:25, knotting the game at 2-2 heading into the second half.
Neither team was able to break through during a tightly contested second period as strong defensive play and steady goaltending kept the deadlock intact.
With regulation unable to separate the two sides, the game moved to a shootout. Both teams traded chances before Corners Hockey converted twice in the tiebreaker, securing a dramatic victory.
