ATTLEBORO – TSH Selects Elite finished their 2008 Elite division slate in the preliminary round of the 2024 Jr. Chowder Cup a perfect 3-0-0 on Saturday afternoon. They did so by defeating RAD (Black) 5-4 at New England Sports Village.
It was a torrid start to the contest. All nine goals in the contest scored in its first half.
The two sides battled back-and-forth throughout that opening 25-minutes, with neither side able to gain a decided advantage. When the dust settled, TSH had a 5-4 lead on the strength of goals from Ethan Lashway, Xander Morgan-Corson, Charlie Gingras, Cullan Sturdevant and Caleb Mead.
Mead had a pair of assists to go with his goal to finish with a game-high three points.
Mattias Allan (2G) and Daniel Kim (2A) each had a pair of points in leading the RAD offense.
