2019 Midget Fall Classic; Saturday games – 3:30p.

FOXBORO –The final New England Pro Am Hockey tournament of the season continued throughout Saturday afternoon at the Foxboro Sports Center. The following is a look at the reported 3:30 p.m. games of the 2019 Midget Fall Classic.

Rink 1 – Boston Knights 3 vs. East Coast Leafs U18 2:

Two games and two wins for the Boston Knights at the 2019 Midget Fall Classic. They had to rally to do so, nipping the East Coast Leafs for their second victory of the day, 3-2, at the Foxboro Sports Center.

Through one, it was a good show for the Knights. Sean Malone and Ned Malolepzy each posted a goal to give Boston a 2-0 lead at the halftime intermission.

East Coast, opening tournament play against the Knights, rallied from their slow start, capitalizing in the second to tie the game on goals by Andrew Demerchant and CJ Jette.

Josiah Brown, however, had one more in him for Boston, just over a minute after Jette’s score to put the Knights back on top with the 3-2 game-winner at 21:49 of the game’s second half.

Rink 2 – Middlesex Icemen U16 1 vs. Providence Hockey Club U16 North 3:

A similar result on Rink 2 of the Foxboro Sports Center as Rink 1 during the 3:30 p.m. set of games as the Providence Hockey Club notched their second win of the 2019 Midget Fall Classic. They defeated the Middlesex Icemen 3-1.

Nathan Parker for Providence and Trevor Owens for Middlesex made it a 1-1 game at the game’s halftime break.

Out of the half, Sean Guinan went to work. The Providence forward broke the game’s tie just 11-seconds into the second half and then added the insurance goal at 16:14 to solidify the 3-1 victory.

Jeffery Pimental was credited with his second win of the tournament in the Providence goal cage.

Rink 3 – Boston Advantage Showcase 4 vs. Central Connecticut Capitals U18 3:
