Offensive fireworks for Battery Hockey.

CANTON – If it was to be their final game at the 2021 Jr. Chowder Cup, Battery Hockey Academy ’05 made it a good one as they defeated the Mass Avalanche 10-2 on Saturday evening at the Canton Ice House.

While it is usually an avalanche that keeps on crashing down, in this one it was the Battery Hockey offense that just kept on coming in waves throughout. Eight times they struck in the first half, beating Mass into submission, before adding a pair in the second for good measure.

There were seven different goal scorers for the victors, Emerson Ohlson and Patrick Garvey each with a pair. Aidan McDonald (1G, 1A) and Jaxson Wiernik (1G, 1A) also had multiple points in the game, while netminder Connor Broderick was credited with the win.

For the Avs, it was one in the first and one in the second. Jack Breen and then Evan Kondylis with the scores.
