Cyclones U18 continue to shine.

FOXBORO – The Northern Cyclones U18 closed out their preliminary round of play at the 2018 Midget Fall Classic on Sunday evening as they had in all of their other contests to that point in the tournament. With a win. This one coming at the expense of the 95 Giants by a margin of 7-1 at the Foxboro Sports Center.

It was all Cyclones in the first half as they rung up a 3-0 advantage they took into the halftime break. Goals from Cory Morris, Duke Litwin and Tyler Bodette (shorthanded) accounted for the lead.

The Giants did break through in the second half – on a power play tally from Itay Mostovoy – but it was more of the same as the Cyclones struck for four more. Another from Litwin and one each from Ryan Mahlmeister, Adam Schurchart and Davis Bone rounded out the 7-1 final.

Litwin’s two goals and one assist led all scorers in the contest, while Spencer Pierce was the goaltender of record for the winning Cyclones.
